Participants will learn to utilize satellite imagery, spatial databases, and GIS tools for forest cover mapping, biodiversity conservation, carbon stock estimation, habitat analysis, fire risk mapping, and monitoring of afforestation programs. The course blends theoretical learning with practical hands-on experience using industry-standard tools like QGIS, ArcGIS, Google Earth Engine, and remote sensing platforms such as Sentinel and Landsat.
