Job Role and Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct professional GIS training.
• Customize training modules to suit the needs of diverse learners, ranging from beginners to advanced professionals.
• Deliver live virtual or in-person training sessions across varying time shifts to accommodate global clients.
• Provide hands-on guidance and support, ensuring clients gain practical knowledge and industry-relevant skills.
• Guide students in hands-on GIS applications, spatial analysis, remote sensing and cartography.
• Provide mentorship and support to students, helping them with project work, assignments and skill enhancement.
• Stay updated with the latest GIS trends, technologies and software developments.
• Assess student performance through assignments, quizzes and projects.
• Collaborate with the training and research team to enhance course offerings and curriculum.

Desired Qualifications and Skills:

• A Master’s degree or Diploma in Geoinformatics, Geography, Environmental Science or a related field.
• Diploma or equivalent experience in at least one general purpose programming language (e.g. Python, C++, Java)
• Proficiency in GIS software such as QGIS, ArcGIS and remote sensing tools.
• Strong communication and presentation skills with fluency in English (additional languages are a plus).
• Strong problem-solving and multitasking skills.
