Job Role and Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct professional GIS training.
  • Customize training modules to suit the needs of diverse learners, ranging from beginners to advanced professionals.

About the Role

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior GIS Analyst to join our team. The role involves supporting geospatial data creation, management, and analysis for projects across industries. The ideal candidate will have foundational GIS knowledge, a keen eye for accuracy, and the ability to work with senior analysts and project teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collect, process, and maintain spatial datasets from various sources (satellite imagery, GPS, surveys, open data).
  • Perform basic spatial analysis including overlay, buffering, geocoding, and network analysis.
  • Prepare thematic maps, charts, and geospatial visualizations for project reports and presentations.
  • Support database creation and management GeoDatabases
  • Ensure data quality through validation, editing, and metadata documentation.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Geography, Geoinformatics, Environmental Science, Urban Planning, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Strong working knowledge of ArcGIS, QGIS, or similar GIS platforms.
